Why did Indian stocks’ m-cap rise $1 trillion in just 6 months?
BSE-listed shares crossed $5 trillion in m-cap after their value rose $1 trillion in just six months. According to Bloomberg, this is a result of entry of large number of youngsters in equity investments. Additionally, a recent upgrade of India's rating outlook by S&P Global and BJP securing sufficient support from allies, ensuring policy continuity, also helped propel shares' value.
