Peraso shares surged about 96% in pre-market trading. This came after the company said its 60 GHz millimetre-wave semiconductor technology was selected by Israeli defence contractor InTACT for a new drone identification system. The Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) platform will use Peraso beamforming wireless transceivers to help military forces distinguish friendly drones from hostile ones.
