India travelled to Sri Lanka for the upcoming Test series without left-handed opener Sai Sudharsan. According to reports, the Tamil Nadu batter stayed back at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru to continue rehabilitation for a toe injury and is expected to resume batting at full intensity this week. He will join the squad after receiving fitness clearance.
