Why do people feel less thirsty in winter?

People feel like drinking less water in winter as experts say that during winter, people's blood vessels tighten to conserve heat and this reduces blood flow to the brain's thirst centre, making people think they're well-hydrated. Heavy sweaters and jackets cause mild sweating that evaporates in dry air quickly, due to which people underestimate the amount of fluid they're losing.
