Why do women feel colder than men?

Women often feel colder than men due to biological differences in hormones, muscle mass, body fat distribution, and metabolic rate. Higher estrogen levels, especially during ovulation or with hormonal contraceptives, affect blood flow and heat loss. Lower muscle mass also reduces heat generation, making women more sensitive to cold, particularly in winter or with age.
