India has repeatedly indicated that it's unwilling to ditch the US dollar as the primary currency for trade, a move which Russia and China are pushing for. Experts said a common BRICS currency requires political and fiscal commonality, which the group's member countries lack. India is instead pushing to link the central bank digital currencies of BRICS members.
