Goa's traditional drink Urrak is available for only six to eight weeks each summer because it is made from fresh cashew apple juice with a short shelf life. The lightly distilled beverage is best consumed fresh and cannot be stored for long. Its limited availability has made Urrak a rare seasonal favourite deeply rooted in Goan culture.
