Bengaluru's historic Halasuru Someshwara Temple has not conducted weddings for nearly six years due to rising divorce cases, which often result in priests being summoned to court as witnesses. The temple management said the decision was taken to protect priests from legal complications and to safeguard the temple's reputation.
