Why has Egypt not joined Pakistan-Saudi-Turkey defence pact?

Egypt has not joined Mecca defence pact signed by Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. A Moneycontrol report said Saudi Arabia has opposed Egypt joining the alliance. Saudi provided $25 billion to support President Sisi’s government but is frustrated by limited reciprocal support. Egypt’s ties with India could also be a factor for it not joining, as the pact includes Pakistan.
