Israel has barred additional US refuelling aircraft from landing at its Ben Gurion Airport, citing scarce parking and operational space at the airport, which is meant primarily for commercial flights. Israeli officials said that the refuelers should not exceed 20, as nearly 50,000 airline tickets could be affected. Israel has asked US to shift the aircraft to military bases instead.
