A resident of Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur challenged actress Kangana Ranaut's election from Mandi seat, claiming his nomination papers were wrongfully rejected. He alleged that he was given one day to produce no dues certificates from electricity, water and telephone departments and the returning officer didn't accept his nomination papers. He added he could have won if his papers were accepted.
