Why has Ram Gopal Varma called Tiger Shroff shooting a 'never-before-seen phenomenon'?

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has called the firing incident targeting actor Tiger Shroff a "never-before-seen phenomenon" as miscreants are ready to kill for vanity and pride. "Instead of killings relating to extortion, contract murders, settlements, etc, for the first time ever, they seem to be wanting to kill for vanity and pride," he stated.
