Why hasn’t Pakistan intervened after Houthis attacked Saudi Arabia despite defence pact?
Saudi-Pakistan-Türkiye defence pact is in focus as Yemen’s Houthi rebels targeted Saudi oil giant Aramco and other energy facilities. While the pact says aggression against one would be treated as attack on all, it doesn't specify what military action members must take. This ambiguity gives Pakistan room to decide how to respond. Notably, Pakistan has already deployed 8,000 troops there.
