Why hasn't there been any Leader of Opposition in LS since 2014?

There has been no Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha since 2014. A party needs 55 MPs to appoint a Leader of Opposition. Since no opposition party was able to secure this minimum number of seats since 2014, they couldn't appoint a head. In 2014 and 2019, Congress emerged as the second-largest party with 44 and 52 seats, respectively.
