BCB president Faruque Ahmed has been removed from his role by the National Sports Council, but the board is unlikely to be sanctioned. The current system allows two nominations for directorship from the NSC. Faruque's nomination has simply been withdrawn. It's unlikely that the government body will be seen by the ICC as unduly interfering in the BCB's affairs.
