First cyclonic storm of 2023, Cyclone Mocha, is expected to make landfall in West Bengal and Odisha on May 7. The name has been given by Yemen, known for its coffee trade. Mokha, also spelt Mocha, is a port city on Red Sea coast of Yemen. The naming was done as per the decree issued by the World Meteorological Organisation.
