Multiple Chinese influencers have reportedly been banned by the country for overt displays of wealth. Wang Hongquanxing (dubbed 'China's Kim Kardashian'), Baoyu Jiajie (or 'Sister Abalone') and Bo Gogzi (also called 'Mr Bo') are among banned influencers. "Once materialism starts spreading, it can have a bad influence on teenagers...Hence [it]...needs to be stopped," authorities had said earlier.
