BJP leader Anurag Thakur criticised Congress and other Opposition parties for not effectively working to send Pakistani nationals back to their countries. "What is compulsion for Congress and its other allies to speak the language of Pakistan?" Thakur said. "The question is, does Congress even stand with India?" he added. Pakistani politicians are quoting Congress leaders' statements, he said.
