Senior Indian bureaucrat Vivek Aggarwal has been elected as the Vice President of the global anti-money laundering and counter-terror financing watchdog FATF in a "major win for India". "This leadership role reinforces our relentless focus on combating global terrorist financing networks," MEA said. Aggarwal's election is also expected to further strengthen India's engagement with FATF.
