Sensex jumped 1,400+ points, while Nifty Pharma and Metal indices jumped over 3% on Friday. "Rally is mainly driven by Trump's tariffs pause for 90 days, excluding China," Profitmart Securities' Avinash Gorakshakar told Mint. "Higher US tariffs on China may boost Indian exports to US," Reliance Securities' Vikas Jain said. RBI's repo rate cut is also fuelling rally, experts said.
