World UFO Day, celebrated on July 2, commemorates two days which are first widely reported UFO sightings. First sighting was reported on June 24, 1947, when aviator Kenneth Arnold claimed he saw a 'flying saucer'. Second incident was in New Mexico on July 2, when a ranch owner found debris around his pasture, believed to have fallen from UFO crash.
