According to Central Information Commission (CIC), Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust isn't a "public authority" under RTI Act, which exempts it from disclosing information under the law. The CIC concluded the Trust is an independent body created after Supreme Court's 2019 Ayodhya verdict and is neither owned, controlled, nor substantially funded by Centre or Uttar Pradesh government.
