Chief Economic Adviser Krishnamurthy Subramanian said the cover of the Economic Survey 2019-20 has been printed in lavender colour, the same colour as the new ₹100 note. "The Economic Survey is a synthesis of the ideas of old and new or contemporary evidence with ancient ideas," he said. Subramanian also said the theme of this year's survey was "wealth creation".
