Why is Trump unlikely to face prosecution after ending presidency?

Despite allegations of impropriety in second term and renewed questions about his family's cryptocurrency venture, US President Donald Trump is unlikely to face prosecution, say experts. This is due to 2024 Supreme Court decision that says presidents are "immune from prosecution" for actions within "conclusive and preclusive constitutional authority," and presumptively for all official acts.
