Congress leader Shashi Tharoor reacted to the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar, saying, "When a non-violent protest is taking place, what is the reason for a lathi-charge?" His remarks came after CJP protesters marched towards Parliament demanding Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation over the NEET-UG paper leak. "I don't understand the logic of this," he added.
