Why should people avoid back-to-back year-end parties?

Dr Sushil Kalra has said that heart, liver and gut get affected by back-to-back year-end parties. He alerted that combination of alcohol, heavy meals, irregular sleep, dehydration and prolonged sitting leads to 'holiday health hangover'. He said binge drinking and high-sodium foods can raise blood pressure. He advised spacing drinks, avoiding late-night heavy meals and prioritising sleep.
