England's Jamie Overton, a bowling all-rounder by designation, will be playing the Australia T20Is as a specialist batter. That is due to a back stress fracture he suffered in April while bowling for Surrey. Overton, who will make his T20I debut in the first game, featured in both the T20 Blast 2024 and The Hundred 2024 as a specialist batter.
