The India-South Africa Test match in Guwahati will start at 9 am. The daylight hours fade earlier in Guwahati because it's in north-eastern part of India. To maximise playing time in good light and reduce risk of bad light or interruptions, the BCCI decided to have tea break first (11 am-11.20 am) and lunch later (1.20 pm to 2 pm).
