The orange or yellow flame of a gas stove means the gas is not burning properly and it usually happens due to insufficient oxygen or dirt and grease blocking burner holes. Incomplete burning produces carbon particles that leave black soot on utensils. It also releases harmful gases like carbon monoxide, which can cause breathing problems.
