The state government today approved amendments to the Compassionate Employment Policy to give priority to widows and orphaned applicants below 45 years of age and the dependents of its officials, who died while on duty. The decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in Shimla.
