Gujarat High Court has quashed an FIR against a woman and her partner on charges of abetting her husband's suicide. Observing that it can't be said that the duo "intended" to abet the suicide, the court added, that the wife and her partner's involvement in an extramarital affair "may not invite conviction". The FIR was filed by the deceased's mother.
