Will check with Prez: Musk on $5,000 'DOGE dividend' checks idea
Elon Musk said he "will check with" President Donald Trump if tax refund checks worth $5,000 each could be sent to Americans using a portion of DOGE savings. The idea was pitched by Azoria CEO James Fishback. He said if DOGE saves $2 trillion by July 2026, 20% ($400 billion) of the savings could be returned to 79 million households.
