After the I.N.D.I.A bloc meeting, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said it was agreed to send a letter to the Chief Justice of India on the SIR and "vote loot". "It was unanimously agreed to demand the Education Minister's immediate resignation," he added. Kharge further said the Union government should immediately convene an all-party meeting to discuss the "precarious" economic situation.
