After the GST Council approved a two-slab rate structure of 5% and 18%, PM Narendra Modi said the reforms are aimed at ease of living for the common man and strengthening the economy. He stated that the changes will benefit farmers, MSMEs, the middle class, women and youth. "The reforms will ensure ease of doing business for all," he added.
