TikTok-parent ByteDance has said that it will "strictly follow" China's new technology export rules. In case of TikTok's US operations sale, the company would follow the applicable laws of both the US and China, ByteDance General Counsel Erich Andersen said. Earlier, China revised a list of restricted technologies that require preliminary approval from the Chinese government for export.
