Israel has threatened to strike Iran directly if the latter launches attack from its own soil amid tensions between the countries following the killings of Iranian generals in a blast at Iranian embassy in Syria. The remarks came after Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei reiterated a promise to retaliate against Israel. The attack killed at least 12 people.
