The pilot who died after a Tejas fighter jet crashed at the Dubai Air Show was identified as Wing Commander Syal, who hailed from Himachal Pradesh. Himachal CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said, "The nation has lost a brave, dutiful, and courageous pilot." The jet crashed during a demonstration and caught fire. IAF ordered an inquiry into the incident.
