Pune-based transport service Wings Travel has acquired Mumbai-based taxi service Bookmycab for an undisclosed amount in a mix of cash and equity deal. In July 2015, on-demand auto-rickshaw service Jugnoo was reportedly acquiring Bookmycab, however, the deal did not work out. Founded in 2012 by IIT Bombay alumnus Avinash Gupta, Bookmycab lets users book taxis through its website and app.
