Wipro on Thursday announced its commitment to reach net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2040. The firm said it has also set an intermediate target of a 55% reduction in GHG emissions by 2030 in absolute emission levels in comparison to 2016-17 (April to March). Chairman Rishad Premji said businesses must be at the forefront in addressing climate change.
