Wipro has said its share buyback programme of up to ₹9,500 crore will start on December 29 and close on January 11, 2021. Last month, shareholders approved a proposal to buy back up to 23.75 crore equity shares at ₹400 apiece. The buyback represents 4.16% of Wipro's total paid-up equity share capital. Wipro has set December 11 as record date.
