German payments firm Wirecard is auctioning convertible bonds worth $1 billion at a fraction of their price. The securities, which were at the heart of SoftBank's Wirecard partnership, will be offloaded at 12% of their notional worth. Meanwhile, the US Justice Department is investigating whether the company was involved in a $100 million bank fraud linked to online marijuana marketplace.
