Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar, who survived cancer, has said he wished he was warned against consuming tobacco and supari 40 years ago. Speaking at an event aimed at eradicating oral cancer by 2022, Pawar revealed he had suffered "tremendously" during his cancer treatment and now has trouble opening his mouth wide, swallowing food and talking.
