A woman named Arshi eloped with her brother-in-law Sabir after her husband, Mohammed Sagir, allegedly refused to shave in UP. Arshi and Sagir regularly argued over the latter's beard, following which Arshi decided to elope with the clean-shaven Sabir. Asking Sagir to return her ₹5-lakh dowry, she said, "If he gives even ₹2.5 lakh, I'll leave him...and live with Sabir."
