A 35-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped in an empty compartment of a stationary train in Haryana's Panipat, police said on Monday. The woman was later taken to Sonipat and thrown on train tracks, after which a train passed over her, severing her leg, police added. The accused approached the woman after claiming to have been sent by her husband.
