A woman in Haryana’s Jind gave birth to her 11th child, a son, on Monday. According to doctors, both mother and the newborn are healthy. The family had been trying repeatedly for a son, which is why they continued having children despite having so many daughters. "My daughters asked me to bring home a brother for them," the father said.
