Mumbai Airport Customs arrested Jahanara Shamsi, aged 37, for smuggling hydroponic weed worth ₹6 crore from Bangkok. Customs officials found 19 packets of hydroponic weed, weighing about 6 kg, concealed in her trolley bag. Shamsi confessed to smuggling for ₹30,000, and a Customs source stated that she admitted to "non-declaration, concealment, recovery and seizure of the narcotics substance".
