A woman who got married in 2006 was rescued in Bhopal on Saturday after nearly 16 years. Her father, who hails from Narsinghpur, said in a police complaint that the victim was not allowed to meet her parents since 2008, was being harassed and she was also isolated from son and daughter. Recently, her neighbours said her health was deteriorating.
