Woman is paid to protect John Lennon's glasses in Cuba park

A 72-year-old woman is paid by the Cuban government to ensure that a statue of Beatles singer John Lennon in the 'John Lennon Park' always has a pair of glasses on. Aleeda Rodriguez Pedrasa, who has been working in the park for two years, is paid about ₹16,500 per month, which is reportedly more than what most Cubans earn.
