Xiang Liujuan, a 30-year-old Chinese woman, was killed as she fell through a loose floor-plate over an escalator in a shopping mall on Sunday, as per reports. While falling, she pushed her two-year-old son forward as a shop assistant dragged him to safety. Firefighters had to work for more than four hours to retrieve Xiang's body.
