A woman has been arrested for allegedly killing her newborn by placing it in a vessel of boiling water in Karnataka's Nelamangala. The accused, who was suffering from postpartum depression, believed the baby wasn't "normal" as it refused to drink milk and cried inconsolably, a report said, citing police. The woman's husband is reportedly unemployed and an alcoholic.
